With his entire career focused in the area of film, journalism, and media relations, Mr. Yates has worked in such positions as press secretary for a Member of Congress, sports infornation director for a university, and speechwriter for a trade association. An accomplished producer and freelance writer, Mr. Yates is the author of over 100 articles that have appeared in such publications as Newsweek, The New York Times, and The Washington Post, among others. For 2006, the film division of Fresh Flava Entertainment is producing the "Urban Singles Scene", an upbeat, lifestyle piece on life as a single in major cities across the U.S.
